All Shook Up

All Shook Up is a 2004 American jukebox musical with music from the Elvis Presley songbook and with a book by Joe DiPietro. The show concerns repressed residents of an unnamed American town in the 1950s who experience an awakening when a leather-clad guitar-strumming roustabout rolls into town. The story takes inspiration from the comedies of William Shakespeare, particularly Twelfth Night, and explores themes such as authoritarianism, homosexuality, and segregation. This production was produced by Anderson Mainstage Theatre, in Anderson, Indiana in April, 2024.

Taste of Broadway

Taste of Broadway is an original "dansical" which was co-directed and created by myself and Beverly Bautista at Ball State University in April 2023. Tasked with creating a dance based show that showcased a "taste" of the best of Broadway, we devised a narrative featuring several characters who portrayed iconic archetypes we often see onstage. Using songs from our personal favorite, and the most iconic Broadway shows in history, we created inspired and original choreography to tell a story of hope, perseverance, and identity onstage.

Heathers: The Musical premiered at UNC Greensboro in February 2018, a product of collaboration between director Virginia Hirsch, myself as choreographer, and music directed by Dr. Justin P. Cowan.
